Finish The Year Strong With Your Own Set of Firsts

The beginning of each new year is a popular time to reinvent yourself and reach for bigger and better goals. Lucky for you (or maybe unlucky for you, depending on how you look at it), we don’t believe in waiting around for January to achieve something totally awesome.

That’s why we partnered with Samsung and two-time Olympic gold medalist Natasha Hastings to push you to accomplish a number of firsts before the curtain falls on 2017. When you join the Firsts Never Stop running challenge, you’ll have the opportunity to reach three running milestones during the month of December — plus, you can earn the chance to win a Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro, the company’s latest and greatest fitness tracker that will help you continue your quest for greatness into 2018 and beyond.

Samsung and Under Armour have collaborated to inspire you to push beyond your comfort zone and take on your own ‘Firsts.’ Join Under Armour’s Natasha Hastings, an Olympic gold medalist, on a challenge that will celebrate individual milestones.

Always wanted to be an early riser and get your workout done first thing in the morning? There’s a badge for that. Log your first mile before 8 a.m. to earn the Morning Run Award.

Always wanted to be a sprinter, just like Natasha? There’s a badge for that. Log your first 400-meter sprint (clocking a sub 8-minute mile, more specifically) to earn the Pace Award.

Want to just get out and run? There’s a badge for that, too. Log your first mile (or 1600 meters, in Natasha’s world) to earn the Distance Award.

Earn all three badges to complete the challenge, and you’ll be entered to win a Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro, which now offers the MapMyRun, MyFitnessPal and Under Armour Record apps directly on the device. This means you can track workouts, log calories and monitor sleep directly on your wrist — without even touching your phone.

We’re making it easier than ever to reach your goals. Now, all you need are hearty doses of hard work and commitment.

Ready to get started? Join the challenge today.
